Civic Clarity

Understand what your government is doing. Ask a question, follow the evidence, and see who has the power to act. Civic Clarity applies one nonpartisan evidentiary standard — identical evidence categories, identical editorial review — to every party and every administration, regardless of what any other part of this platform proposes.

What Civic Clarity is not

Civic Clarity is not The American Renewal Plan's advocacy voice. It does not adopt this platform's reform positions, framing, or conclusions merely because they share an owner and now share a website. Where a Civic Clarity page discusses a topic The American Renewal Plan also has a position on, it gives that proposal the same neutral "current law / proposed change / strongest argument on each side" treatment it gives any other serious proposal — never special prominence, never endorsement. What's built so far

Civic Clarity's engineering foundation is complete and tested — 39 unit tests and 7 end-to-end/accessibility tests passing, zero automatically-detected WCAG 2.1 AA violations, on a real Next.js application with a real (demonstration-data-only) evidence database. It runs as its own application, not as pages on this static site.

It has not been deployed anywhere. Per the current development-mode restriction, no build of Civic Clarity is publicly reachable yet, so this page does not link to a live instance — linking to something that doesn't exist publicly would misrepresent the platform's actual state, exactly what the "no live/public data" rule this platform operates under is meant to prevent. When a real deployment exists, this page becomes the link to it.

What it will cover

Per Civic Clarity's own adopted navigation (Government Explained · Bills and Votes · Executive Actions · Budget and Spending · Committees · Officials and Institutions · Who Has Authority? · Find My Representatives · Promises and Outcomes · Ask Civic Clarity), the platform is organized around Understand (how things work), Track (what's happening), and Take Action (what you can do) — plus a persistent "Ask Civic Clarity" question interface. Public-facing content publication is separately gated on legal review and evidence-category verification and has not started.
