About Responsible America

The thesis

America is not broke. It is mismanaged. Private enterprise should be free to create wealth, but it should never be free to purchase government, exploit essential human needs, poison the public environment, destroy fair competition, or make working Americans poorer while receiving privileges from the country that made its success possible.

What this is

Responsible America is a long-term, public-interest project: it identifies structural problems in the United States, explains competing viewpoints honestly, proposes practical reforms, shows citizens how to take action, and tracks whether officials actually support or implement those reforms. Every reform is evaluated against one standard: would this rule still be considered fair if the opposing political party controlled the government?

What this is not

It is not a temporary political campaign, a personal blog, an ordinary news site, or a partisan attack site. It does not endorse a political party or candidate. It is not a law firm, accounting firm, investment adviser, medical provider, or government agency, and nothing on this site is legal, financial, or medical advice.

Where this stands today

This is an early, actively developed buildout of the platform's data model, site, and review systems: a policy taxonomy, a reform data schema, governing documents, the first 20 priority reform records — all currently in draft status pending review — and the source/claim display systems the platform will rely on once large-scale research begins.
